I told you it was my turn to watch a show & turned off curious George. You were mad at first but liked the singing on the sound of music. You even came to sit with me which doesn't happen very frequently anymore!

3 years, + one month. Daddy had LASIK surgery on his eyes. Where else would he have had it? Anyway, you hung out with mom & poppa all night. You look like you have chicken pox but we aren't sure. Your nose is runny & crusty & you won't let us clean it. I put mom on the job cuz she gets things done! Daddy asked if you could spend the night w mom & poppa cuz every night y'all play & play & daddy can barely open his eyes from the surgery.

You have been three for one day now.  LOL.  We had your party on Saturday at the house.  You had such a good time & when i asked if you had a good time you said "Yes, let's do it again mommy!"

You had 2 friends from school come over Ryan & Bruno.  I made capes for all the kids & masks, you decorated superhero "shields" & "wrist guards" & got into the telephone booth, put on your cape & then took pics & jumped on the bouncy castle.

Your 3rd Birthday fell on a Monday so I kept you out of school, we went to the ride the train by the zoo & then came home for a nap.  When you woke up we went to see a movie "cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2".  We were the ONLY ones in the theatre!

You claim daddy is your "best friend"
You go to school Monday, Wednesday & Friday & are with mom @ poppa Tuesday & Thursday
You STILL love trains
I talked you into a superhero party for your third birthday.
You say "hello" to everyone when we are anywhere people are.
You love to tease Riley.
About once a week you throw a temper tantrum when you don't get your way.
Your vocabulary is so huge. You are making complete sentences.
Whenever I paint my nails you always comment, "oh! Mommy! You have the red!"
You notice everything new. "Oh! Mommy! You got some new shoes!"
You are adorable & so so so sweet.

Two months until you are 3. You are such a joy. Mommy & daddy love you so so much.

We are celebrating at mom & poppa's house today. Daddy went to go mount a deer & then we are going. You will be 3 in October.

My cherub - Mother's Day 2013

I love you to pieces. You are such a good kid. I know I am completely partial but for goodness sakes, you are an exceptional child. You make us laugh, you make us smile, you make us shake our heads & yell & you make us overwhelmed.

You are such a simple, happy boy. We love you so much. I hope I am always around to spend Mother's Day with you.

I want you to know I am so lucky to be your mother. The luckiest chick on the planet! You are such a joy my little love. I love you.

Trains hanging from the coffee table

Two years, 6 months you

-You have been going to school everyday since march. It will be only MWF but mom & poppa are in FL for the month fixing up mom & pops old home.
-we have been talking to you about potty training, so far you don't seem too interested
-you love the nutri grain bars & every morning ask me for "red bar"
-you sill love trains. Like crazy
-you love playing outside with chalk, your lawn mower & water. You love the water

Your teacher thinks you are smart.

So do we. Perhaps we will all give potty training a try.

Saying everyone's names

Lady & the tramp on the iPad

You love watching movies on the TV but sometimes we watch other shows besides Thomas the train! I have you hooked up on the iPad now watching lady & the tramp.

Zoo!

We took you to the zoo today & then for a train ride. You were so excited. You kept exclaiming "train!" While we rode it. Pointing out bridges, tunnels, wood & birds along the way.

2 years & 4 month old you

-you are obsessed with trains, you play with them for a very long time with Thomas the train in the background you know all the engines names on Thomas the train.
-you sleep from usually 7:30PM to 7:00AM
-every morning you call out "mommy!" "Mommy" when you wake up. You insist on bringing your pillow, binkeys, giraffe & both blankets from your crib onto the couch
-you stay with mom & poppa Monday-Thursday during the day. You love poppa to pieces. He takes you to the playground frequently
-you are very mellow around other kids, watching them when they are loud or misbehaving. You are very well behaved
-you love to be outside & will run around w your little lawn mower forever
-when I ask you to throw something in the trash you nod & take off w it.
- you say "wye wye" for Riley, "bapple" for apple, "mulk" for milk & "coldie" for cold.
-whenever we get in the car together you ask me for "gasses" (your sunglasses) and gum
-you like to watch Thomas, curious George, the little engine that could & lady & the tramp. You say it "wady & tamp"
-we love you to pieces.
