Day before Xmas eve, 2012

You are 2 years & 2 months. Daddy took you to the playground for 2 hours today. Lacie & Jen closed on their new home Friday & we helped them move yesterday. You are already asking about "en" (Jen) & wondering where they are (they lived with us for two months while finding a house).

Mom & poppa took you the beach this week & wore you out! You are so tired. Daddy just gave you a bath, said the other dads at the park were looking at their phones the whole time their kids were playing.

Today is Brielle's 2nd birthday. We had her party yesterday then tonight met everyone at vineyard at gruene for some shrimp & wine. You walked all over that place! You are trying hard to stay awake! You are almost 20 months. Such a sweet boy. Everyone loves you so much.

We got back from a cruise to the florida keys & the bahamas yesterday. You stayed with mom & poppa. We missed you like crazy. Today you are full of hugs & kisses. You are 19 months

Your 2nd Easter

We went to dinner in Gruene for mom & poppas birthdays & Easter. We went to the grill at gruene. Afterwards we went to vineyard at gruene. You walked around & around on the patio while we all enjoyed our wine. You were smiling at everyone! Such a flirt! We were home & you were in bed by 8:30. Ready for Easter tomorrow!

Staying up past 7pm

You have been trying to stay up later & later usually you were out by 7. NOW, you have been staying up past 8!

You very quietly put the animals into this tractor, in & out & putting them in different seats then moving them around again. So busy concentrating on the animals. You will be 16 months in 3 days.

Daddy worked late & was anxious to watch NASCAR. It was delayed cuz of rain.

Deleting pics

My iPhone told me today that I was almost out of storage. Today is super bowl Sunday & I have been deleting pictures & videos from my phone for a couple of hours off & on. This one was cute. Me & you. About a year ago in 2011. :)

Baby showers

We went to Kristin Link's baby shower today. At first you were really reluctant to leave my side then you were walking around, talking to kiera & eating grapes by the handful.

16 months in 4 days

Walking & gibber gabber all over the place. You hang out with mom & poppa everyday during the week & love them. You sleep for 3 hours for them. When home with us about 1.5. You love caillou the show. You are so sweet.

Baby bedding

I had a great idea (because I already had your toddler bedding) to sell your baby bedding to Theresa. Her brother is having a baby in march (2012). His name is Austin Link. I am going to the baby shower tomorrow (you are going with me, kiera requested you be there) & sold the bedding to theresa. It made me sad. Daddy made fun of me being sad about it. He said "that's what kids do, they grow up!"

Sad. I am glad you are a big, healthy boy, walking around & being independent but it makes me sad at the same time. I cannot explain it.

AM ritual

You love the show Caillou. You smile big when it starts. You love blueberries! I got a huge thing of them at Costco & when I picked you up you smiled & pointed at them.

You love sitting in this chair & watching your show in the AM.

You are almost 16 months! You started walking last weekend & you are getting to be more confident but you are a cautious walker. :)
